Lindelof left United after his contract expired this summer. During Ten Hag's stint at Old Trafford, the 31-year-old recorded 67 appearances under him and won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. After Tah's departure, Leverkusen have signed four centre-backs this summer, but Jarell Quansah, who arrived from Liverpool, is the most senior of those at just 22 years old. Ten Hag would rather bring in another experienced option to help lead the back line.
